Abstract:
For Efficient Service Delivery in the Banking Environment is totally depend on the managing customer waiting lines and maintaining server performance. In this paper, we evaluated and compared the behavior of Characteristics of queuing of two commercial banking systems such as Bank A and Bank B by applying Monte Carlo simulation technique with in Multi server Queuing model. The main purpose of this study is to compare the two banking environment with the major component such as Customer waiting time in the queue, idleness of the server, server utilization and length of the customer queue are studied under simulated environment that reflect real world arrival of customers and customer service operation.
The findings confirm that Bank A works more effectively, with an average waiting time of 1.7 minutes and an average queue length of 1.02, in contrast to Bank B's averages of 8.74 minutes and 4.36. While both banks demonstrate higher server utilization, Bank A achieves a more favorable balanced between service efficiency and customer wait time. For Bank A, simulating fifty customers took 112 minutes, while for Bank B it took 110 minutes.
The comparative research shows variations in the efficiency of services, pointing out possible obstacles, and provides data on how customer traffic control and the allocation of resources affects overall customer satisfaction. The conclusion of this research not only highlighted the utility of Monte Carlo Simulation in operations of banks but also offer practical suggestions for enhancing efficiency in operations and customer satisfaction.
