Delay differential equations of fourth order with middle term: Oscillation properties with sublinear neutral term

Abstract: The aim of this paper is to derive the oscillation properties of fourth order delay differential equation with middle term of the form (a(t)〖〖((m(t)x(t)+p(t)x^α (τ(t)))〗^''')〗^γ )^'+r(t) 〖〖((m(t)x(t)+p(t)x^α (τ(t)))〗^''')〗^γ+q(t) x^β (σ(t))=0 (1) is considered. By applying the Riccati Transformation technique and new comparison principles, we establish sufficient conditions for the oscillation of the equation is obtained under the condition that R(t)=∫_(t_0)^∞▒〖1/(a(s)) exp(-∫_(t_0)^s▒(r(u))/(a(u)) du)ds=∞〗 as t→∞ Also, the results are an extension and simplification as well as improvement of the previous results.
