Estimating zero data in a concordance table using the pseudo-Bayes estimator

Author(s): Saad Obaid Jameel AL-Masoodi

Abstract: In order to estimate the zero values appearing in the cross-tables, they are estimated based on prior data and subsequent information because, by nature, this data may be originally unequal or different by certain proportions. Therefore, it is correct to investigate the origin of this information to know its convergence using accurate estimates. The most important of these estimates is the pseudo-Bayes estimate, which deals with the probabilities of a single cell in a consistent manner based on prior information and prior parameters that reflect the accuracy of the previous methods. These estimates have much lower risks than the standard estimates of the parameter, and they are also much stronger than other estimates with regard to the values of the parameters far from the previous average. From the results of our study, we found that in this study the proportions were equal
